It's time for this month's DallasPHP meeting! This month we're having a guest speaker in to talk about NOSQL databases - Daniel Cousineau!
NOSQL is more than just a flame war topic, it's a change of mindset and direction in your application development. Daniel will attempt to answer both the Why & When of NOSQL by going over the philosophical changes you have to make as well as examining a case study from his own client work and other practical examples. Though the NOSQL ecosystem is diverse both in product and methodology, we will focus on using MongoDB with PHP.
And remember, as usual we'll have an "after-party" over at The Fox & Hound off of Campbell immediately following the meeting. If you're not sure how to get there, grab one of us organizers and we'll be happy to point you the right way.
If you want to participate in the group outside of the meetings, you can share thoughts/opinions/ask questions on the Google Group mailing list or you can visit the Freenode.net IRC network and join us in the #dallasphp channel! Hope to see you there!
